Four tales unfold in Wes Anderson's anthology of short films adapted from Roald Dahl's beloved stories, "The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar", "The Swan", "The Rat Catcher", and "Poison", focusing on the story of Henry Sugar (Benedict Cumberbatch), a wealthy man who gains the ability to see through objects and predict future events thanks to a stolen book. With his newfound talents, he hatches a grand scheme to cheat at gambling.
